Wissant bay is the legendary wind spot of the Côte d'Opale: kitesurfing, windsurfing and wingfoiling between Cap Blanc-Nez and Cap Gris-Nez, with schools on site and rider-minded places to stay (Bed and Kite). Car-free access: train to Boulogne-sur-Mer or Calais, then bus line 427, which serves Wissant from both towns.
